Brentry

Day Nursery and Pre-school

Our Brentry nursery is located on Passage Road. It has 3 main areas; the baby area with a play room and sleep room is for our Caterpillars (under 1s) and Butterflies (under 2s), a room for our Cubs (under 3s) and one for our Lions - our pre-school stage children. Outside we have a large, well equipped garden with a separate  designated baby play area. Our large off-street car park makes dropping off and picking up easy.

Introducing Brentry

In 2004 Once Upon a Time opened a second site in Brentry. Following the same blueprint as the site up the road in Westbury a large detached house was chosen with a beautiful garden, conveniently situated on a major commuter route for those coming into Bristol from the north of the city and the M5 and for those going the opposite way – towards Cribbs Causeway, Filton and the motorway. Despite being hidden by huge Leilandii trees for much of its life the nursery soon established itself and is now busy serving the local community of Brentry as well as the historic villages of Henbury and Blaise. Due to the nursery’s transport links our parents travel from a number of different areas and we have close links to a variety of major local employers including Southmead Hospital (who’s staff car park is moments away at Clifton Rugby Club).

What the parents say

“A wonderful friendly home from home environment. I’ve had 2 daughters at Once Upon a Time and they have both been happy every day. They have been there full time for 6 months and I could not have asked for a better place for them.”

R. Wistow

“We are grateful to the nursery and the staff for their hard work and care. Our eldest son enjoyed preschool at Once Upon a Time and benefited from their support when moving into reception and starting school. We have been delighted with recent improvements; better communication between nursery and home, parents' evenings, and trips to the local park. Our youngest son enjoys his time at nursery and is very happy there, thanks to all the staff.”

R. Watson

“The staff are all friendly and caring and there is a safe, friendly and welcoming atmosphere at the nursery.”
